ネゴシエーター配偶者
国内だと結構言う方な自分だけど、海外に行くと配偶者に任せっぱなしになる。
それは、配偶者がタフ・ネゴシエーターだからで、今回も大活躍したのでした。
・ミッチー、ホテルにチェックイン出来ず問題
ヒルトンホテルのセミスイートを予約済みのミッチー。
フロントでバウチャーを出すと、ニコニコしてたフロントのお姉さんの顔が少し歪む。
「少し時間を下さい」と言って何か向こうで相談してる。
そこで配偶者、「何してるの？サッサと処理して」と言うと「ミッチー様の予約情報が当ホテルに無い。その仲介業者は当ホテルと契約していない」云々。
とりあえず夜中だったので、デポジットを切って、チェックインさせてもらう。
しかし、話はここで終わらなかったのでした。
・ミッチー、部屋チャンジ問題
1泊した後、ミッチーから連絡有り。
「何かホテルから部屋変わってくれって言われてるんやけど、何でか聞いてくれ」との事。
それを聞いた配偶者が（もちろん英語で）「ミスターNさんと一緒に旅行に来てるモノだけど、どうして部屋を変わらなきゃいけないの？ホワイ？」と言ってる。
怒ってる訳でもなく、ものすごく押さえたドスの利いた声で「Why」と言うからメチャ怖かった。
で、真相は、ミッチー夫妻のホテルバウチャーと入金の確認が出来、キレイな部屋を用意したので、そちらへ移って欲しい。そっちはリノベーションが済んでます」だって。
部屋を移動したら確かにピカピカでいい部屋でした。
・ミッチー、レイトチェックアウト問題
通常のチェックアウトは10時。
で、ホテルのフロントに頼んだら、「12時にします」と言ってくれたんだけど、最終日は早めのゴルフに行って（7：30ティーオフ）戻ってきたら多分12時くらいになってるから「もっとレイトチェックアウトにしてくれ」と。
配偶者は「私はヒルトンのメンバーだし、彼はセミスイートに宿泊してるビッグカスタマーでしょ！」と交渉。
見事13：30チェックアウトを勝ち取ったのでした。
ミッチー先生夫妻は12時頃帰宅して、部屋でシャワーを浴びて着替えて出発。
「今回は色々交渉、ありがとうな」と言ってくれたけど、それは配偶者で、自分は全然役に立ってないんだよな、と思ったりしたのでした。

旅行記っていうか、中途半端にねえ。
今年はセンタラグランドが高くてヒルトンにした。
1泊5.000円くらい違ったからだけど、それでもセンタラグランドに止まったほうが良かったかなあ。
来年も行くので、来年はセンタラに泊まります。
